Nicole Czapinski is an interdisciplinary artist. By employing the simplest of materials, Czapinski’s work evokes natural phenomena and conjures the intangible through photo collages, videos, sculptures, and three-dimensional thread drawings. Since receiving a BA from Bennington College, VT in 2006, her work has been displayed in galleries across the country. Nicole has had solo exhibitions at the The Westmoreland Museum of American Art, Burlington City Arts, Silver Eye Center for Photography, and the Vermont Studio Center. Her work has also been featured in numerous group exhibitions, including the Pittsburgh Biennial; Lorimoto Gallery, New York; and Southern Exposure, San Francisco. From 2016 - 2018 she was a Staff Artist-In-Residence at the Vermont Studio Center. She is looking forward to a two-person exhibition, with collaborator Centa Schumacher, opening at AAP in Fall 2023. Her work is included in numerous private collections.
